Boeing will take nearly $5 billion charges due to 737 Max woes. The company told it will record a $4.9 billion after-tax charge in the second quarter. Boeing shares rose about 2% in after-hours trading. The reduction comes to about $5.6 billion in revenue & earnings before taxes, but, its only part of the cost of the crisis to the aircraft maker. Boeing didn't mention anything about the costs related to litigation against it.
