Mercedes-Benz to produce AMG cars in India under Make in India initiative

In a major boost to the Indian government's Make in India initiative, German-carmaker Mercedes-Benz has decided to manufacture AMG cars in India. "The decision to commence localization of the AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé firmly reiterates our significant manufacturing prowess and innovation in manufacturing, developed over the last two decades," Piyush Arora, Executive Director - Operations, Mercedes-Benz India, said.
