International Energy Agency (IEA) has showcased the growing prevalence of clean and renewable energy in the global transportation sector in the World Energy Outlook 2023 report. One out of every five cars sold worldwide is now an electric vehicle (EV), a substantial increase from one in 25 cars in 2020. The IEA forecasts that by 2030, the number of EVs on the road could be at least 10 times higher than today, signaling a bright future for electric mobility.
