Switzerland government freezes fugitive Nirav Modi's accounts on ED's request

The govt of Switzerland on Thursday froze the Swiss Bank accounts of diamantaire Nirav Modi on the Enforcement Directorate's request. The ED appealed to the Switzerland government four months ago after they traced the transfer of Rs.286 crore from the Punjab National Bank to Swiss banks and it is learnt, that the money was transferred through layers. The money was first sent to Dubai, then Hong Kong and then to Switzerland.
