169 McDonald's outlets in 10 Indian states to remain close for 2 weeks

As per the announcement 169 outlets of McDonald's in 10 states- Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP, Uttarakhand, West Bengal & Bihar will remain closed for 2 weeks from 9th May. This has come after McDonald’s India Pvt. Ltd acquired full ownership of Connaught Plaza Restaurants Ltd, the main franchisee of the food outlet in northern & eastern India, with the buying of Vikram Bakshi’s 50% shares.
