1st time after 20 years, India got more foreign investment than China

This has happened for the first time that India has received more foreign investment than China this year. In 2018, where China received $32 billion, India received more than $38 billion of inbound deals. India’s foreign direct investment (FDI) in the current year was the highest ever with 235 deals costing to $37.76 billion. The reason China faced the fall down was the trade war with the US.
