India is geared up to revive its economy after a contraction due to the coronavirus pandemic. Tech giant Apple has started manufacturing iPhones in India in a major boost to Make In India initiative. Union Law and IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has said the government’s Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme will generate 3 lakh direct jobs and more than 9 lakh indirect jobs in the coming years.
