38 PSUs transferred Rs 2,105 crore from CSR to PM CARES

A day after the Supreme Court rejected the plea that demanded transfer of the money in the PMcares fund to the National Disaster Response Force, it has been found that 38 PSUs contributed over Rs 2,105 crore to the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) fund since it was launched on March 28. The amount was transferred by the PSUs from their Corporate Social Responsibility funds.
