600-700 Indian companies acquired annually: Report

As per CII-PwC report 'Value Creation: Laying the Foundation for Mergers and Acquisitions', around 600-750 Indian companies have been acquired annually since 2010 with an average transaction size of Rs 200 crore. Around 3,400 Indian companies, both in public and private sectors, have been active in M&A in the period of 2010-18. M&A activity witness annualised growth of 13.2, 13.7 and 4%, in last 3, 5 and 10 years.
