7300 new millionaires arise in India, total wealth increases to $6 trillion

Credit Suisse’s Global Wealth Report has revealed that India has added 7300 new millionaires in last year, increasing the total number of millionaires in the country to 3.43 lakhs. India's total household wealth also increased by 2.6% to $6 trillion. It was reported that India has 'wealth poverty' as 91% of adult population has wealth below $10,000 and only 0.6% of adult population have a net worth over $100,000.
