Ahead of festive sale, Walmart-owned Flipkart received Rs 1,616cr

Flipkart India's annual festival sale is coming up and ahead of that the Walmart-owned e-commerce giant has received Rs 1,616cr from its Singapore based parent entity. Flipkart is now focusing on core categories like smartphones and electronic appliances. Flipkart's annual “the Big billion day sale” is scheduled to take place from September 29th to October 4th and they are planning to launch some new products then.
