Air India unpaid fuel bills worth Rs 4,500 crore

Indian Oil Corp (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) have said that Air India has unpaid fuel bills worth Rs 4,500 crore to them. Air India has a 90-day credit period, but according to the oil companies, they haven't received any payments from Air India in the last 200 days. Out of Rs 4,500 crore, Air India offered to pay Rs 60 crore and failed to provide any clear picture.
