Airtel to invest nearly Rs. 3,500 crore for expansion of data centre

Leading telecom firm Bharti Airtel has plans to invest nearly Rs. 3,500 crore in three years to expand its data centre. The firm plans to expand its data centre capacity between three and five times from the current 100 MW. The firm has plans to build as many as 8 data centres through its subsidiary Nxtra Data Ltd. These data centres are likely to be set up in all the major Indian cities including Mumbai and Pune.
