Amazon has been free of corporate tax for 2 years in a row. Amazon doubled its profits in the US market from $5.6 billion in 2017 to $11.2 billion in 2018. Still, the firm has paid zero in corporate tax in 2018 & 2017. The blog from Think Tank explains that the fine print of Amazon's income tax disclosure shows that this achievement is partly due to various unspecified tax credits & tax break for executive stock options.
