The supermarket checkout line will soon be gone if Amazon’s latest initiative works. The retailing giant opened its first cashier-less supermarket in Seattle where you can buy things without waiting in line or opening wallets. At the new store, shoppers will need to scan a smartphone app to visit the store. Cameras and sensors will be tracking what’s taken off shelves and items will be charged to an Amazon account.
