American digital reading platform Epic bought by Byju's for $500 Million

Byju's, an online education company, revealed on Wednesday that it has bought Epic, a digital reading platform for kids, for over Rs 3,700 crore. Byju's will be able to extend its presence in the United States by gaining access to Epic's current user base of over 2 million teachers and 50 million pupils. According to a statement released by Byju's, Epic CEO Suren Markosian and co-founder Kevin Donahue will stay in their positions.
