As #BoycottAmazon becomes trending, giant removes objectionable products

After the #BoycottAmazon began to trend on social media platform Twitter, the e-commerce giant removed many of its products from the site. Indians were sharing screenshots of uninstalling the app. The criticism started when the giant was seen selling toilet seat covers, and doormats with prints of Hindu religious figures. It was also selling doormats and shoes with Indian national flag prints.
