As John Flint parts ways, HSBC to chop off 4,000 jobs

HSBC boss John Flint is leaving the company, 18 months after joining it. Along with that, the bank has also revealed that they are planning to axe 4,000 jobs in a drive to cut costs and increase future profits. There were reports of differences of opinion between Mr Flint and Mark Tucker. The board hasn't announced where they are going to chop the jobs, but it is expected to touch every part of the bank.
