The Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) Annual Report 2021-22, which was released on Friday, pointed out that the private sector banks in India recorded the highest number of frauds in the financial year 2021-22. According to the latest data released by the RBI, private sector banks reported the highest number of cases at 5,334, followed by public sector banks at 3,078.
