Bernerd Arnault from France has beaten Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates to become the world's second-richest person. This is the first time in 7-years Bill Gates has ranked lower than No.2. However, this year, Bernerd Arnault has surpassed Bill Gates by more than $200 million. Arnault entered the luxury good market in 1984 and is presently the CEO of luxury goods maker LVMH Moet Hennessy- Louis Vuitton.
