After several investments in Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance's Jio platform, Reliance is seeing investors' interest in its retail ventures. American private equity company Carlyle Group is eyeing a $2 billion stake in Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd (RRVL). If the two firms reach an agreement, it will be Carlyle's first investment in the retail sector in India. Carlyle and Reliance Industries are still negotiating.
