Chinese firms control about 70% of India's smartphone market

China strongly holds the smartphone market in India. Chinese handset makers Xiaomi, Vivo, Realme and Oppo control nearly 68% of the market share as per the figures released by IDC quarterly mobile tracker report. Xiaomi stands 1st in the Indian smartphone market with a 27% market share followed by Samsung at 2nd place with 19%, Vivo at 3rd with 15%, Realme with 14% & Oppo with 12%. Smartphone shipments grew 9.3% year on year.
