Renowned banker Uday Kotak said the nation's financial system is currently in a Darwinian mode as only the fittest lenders will be able to survive. In his view, the government should rework the FRDI bill since an exit route is essential for troubled lenders. FRDI bill has lapsed & a new bill is yet to be introduced. He reemphasised that the company is confident of recovering over 50% of its IL&FS dues.
