As the Coronavirus hit the world market heavily leading to losses worth trillions across the world, the world's 500 richest people collectively lost $331 billion on Thursday, the biggest one-day drop in the eight-year history of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. The world's richest have lost 16 percent of their collective net worth since the beginning of the first month of the year, according to the index.
