Apple won't tell the world when it buys another company, but as a matter of fact, it is quietly snapping up startups all the time. Apple CEO Tim Cook said that Apple purchases a new company every 2-3 weeks on average and has bought 20-25 companies in the last 6 months alone. Isn't this roughly the frequency we buy groceries?
