Digital transaction volumes rose up by 51% in 2018-19 to 3133.5 cr: Ravi Shankar Prasad

Minister for Electronics and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad said in Rajya Sabha that the digital transaction volumes in the first month of 2019 were at about 3133.58 crores, recording a growth of 51% over the previous year. The government didn't observe any kind of friction in digital payments, and transactions are increasing every year. He also added that govt is taking steps to promote digital payments.
