Walt Disney Co. has offered $38 per share for the entertainment assets of 21st Century Fox Inc., in turn outbidding Comcast Corp. Fox has accepted the $71.3 billion deal, a very aggressive move by Disney, who will gain the control of Fox's movie and TV studio, FX, Star India and Sky Plc. These assets will help Disney grow in the media industry. Both Fox's and Disney's shares rose after the conclusion of the deal.
