Tesla owner Elon Musk has taken over Bill Gates as the second-richest person just a few days after taking over Mark Zuckerberg as the third-richest person in the world. The net worth of the 49-year-old entrepreneur soared by $7.2 billion to $127.9 billion after another surge in the price of Tesla's shares. Musk has seen an addition of $100.3 billion in his net worth this year. Tesla is now approaching the $500 billion market cap.
