Elon Musk: The most tenured CEO in global auto industry

Elon Musk has become the longest-serving CEO in the auto industry today. Dieter Zetsche, the then-Daimler CEO, who was serving since 2006 retired in May this year and that is when Musk achieved this feat. Musk is serving as the CEO of Tesla since 2008 while many other high-profile CEOs have opted for retirement in the last few months including BMW CEO Harold Kruger and Carlos Ghosn of Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi.
