Facebook reaches agreement with Australian government to lift ban on news feeds

Social media giant Facebook has reportedly reached an agreement with the Australian government to lift the ban on news feeds that it imposed in the country in view of the new media law. "As a result of these changes, we can now work to further our investment in public interest journalism, and restore news on Facebook for Australians in the coming days," Facebook Australia managing director Will Easton said.
