Recently, there were changes made in the foreign direct investment policy for e-commerce sites by govt, which was supposed to come in effect from 1st February. Sites like Amazon and Flipkart are finding it difficult to comply with the new made policies and are asking for some more time to implement the changes. In a letter to DIPP, the e-tailers have complained that they were not consulted before making the changes.
