For first time in 20 years HAL had to borrow money to pay salaries

This has happened for the first time in the last 20 years that Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) had to borrow nearly Rs 1,000 crore to pay salaries of the employees and meet with some essential expenses. HAL CMD, R Madhavan, said that they are running out of money and by the end of March they'll be having minus of Rs 6,000 crore. He said that the company can borrow for day-to-day work, but not for the projects.
