Former Uber Asia-Pac Head Amit Jain joins Sequoia Capital

A former head of Uber Asia-Pac Amit Jain has been roped in by marquee venture capital firm Sequoia Capital as an MD. Jain will be a part of the growth investment team and he will be based in Singapore. Jain has quit Uber six months ago after a 4-years long stint. According to Sequia, Jain's operating experience and terrific track record of building and managing hyper-growth tech businesses will be beneficial for them.
