Government plans strict drug recall norms

The central government is working on clear and stricter guidelines to counter problems faced during the recall of drugs which are Not of Standard Quality (NSQ). The Drug Consultative Committee under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has already approved the recommendation for a more effective recall process. There will be nodal officers in each state, and a special committee at the central level will be formed.
