Acc to IATA, from being 1 of the worlds fastest growing domestic air travel market, India fell to 4th position; due to a sharp surge in airfares after Jet Airways reduced flights, grounding of Boeing 737 Max & overall economic slowdown in India. The US, Russia & Japan are the top 3 growing markets. The slowdown largely reflects a reduction in flight operations of Jet Airways & disruptions at Mumbai airport due to construction.
