IKEA sold goods worth Rs 2 crore every day in FY19 in India

World's biggest furniture retailer IKEA has set a new record in India. The Swedish furniture retailer has sold goods worth about Rs 2 crore every day in FY19 in its 1st year of operations in India. In the 1st 7 months, IKEA generated a revenue of Rs 407cr. IKEA is known for its ready-to-assemble products and in FY18 it had witnessed a net loss of Rs 368cr. In India, IKEA's revenue numbers are on par with Urban Ladder.
