IMF cuts Global Growth Forecast & lowers India's growth projection to 7%

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has reduced its growth forecasts for the global economy for 2019 and next year. IMF has lowered the growth estimate for India by 30 basis points for current and next financial year. It has predicted a 3.2% growth in 2019, which is down from its Apri forecast of 3.3%. Even the next year's growth is set to pick up to 3.5%, which is lower than its previous forecast of 3.6%.
