The global market capitalisation has breached the $100 trillion mark for the first time and the sudden surge in the shares of the firms in the US and China is a major reason behind it. The world’s market capitalisation was at $100.5 trillion on December 5. This marks a V-shaped recovery of nearly 63% from $61.6 trillion for the world market. According to Bloomberg data, India was at the 10th spot with just $2.4 trillion.
