India ranks 100 in Global Prosperity Index

India has improved its ranks in “The Legatum Prosperity Index 2017” and even though the economic growth was slower, post demonetization, India has ranked 100 in the prosperity index among 149 countries. In last few years, India has been able to decrease the gap with China as China is facing barriers economically and facing tough competition in the market. The prosperity index checks 104 criteria before making the final list.
