India remains 12th major holder of US Govt Securities

With USD 144.7 billion by the end of 2017, India continues to be the 12th largest overseas holder of US government securities and 3rd largest holder among BRICS nation. India's has increased its holding by USD 26 billion as compared to December 2016 in which holding stands at USD 118.2 billion. In this data released by US Treasury Department, China tops the list with USD 1.18 trillion followed by Japan and Ireland.
