With India being severely hit by the Pandemic, economic losses are continuously increasing as businesses remain stagnant due to the virus. According to a recent analysis by Barclays, a British universal bank, the economic repercussions of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in India, as well as lockdowns to minimize virus transmission, might cost the country $74 billion (about Rs 5.4 lakh crore) in the April-June period.
