IHS Markit estimates - India will become the world's 5th largest economy this year overtaking the UK, and by 2025, India will overtake Japan to become the 3rd largest economy in the world. The Finance Ministry has published an economic roadmap to 2025 in its latest annual economic survey. The major goal is to transform India from a USD 3 trillion economy in 2019 to a USD 5 trillion economy by 2025.
