PM Modi declared 21 days lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country. He also said this lockdown will have a negative economic impact, which the nation will have to pay the price. The AIAI, in a letter, stated that the estimated loss for the Indian economy is slated to be $640 million with growth slated to be between 5-5.6% till 2022. It also said the Indian economy is strong with a very strong & huge consumer base.
