Indian firms including Reliance Jio, LIC to list in 7 countries as government paves the way

The ministry of corporate affairs (MCA) and the department of economic affairs have decided to allow the overseas listing of the largest Indian companies including Reliance Jio, Life Insurance Corporation and other startups. To pave the way for the listing of the firms in seven countries including US, UK, Japan and Canada, as a part of the expansion, the government has decided to do away with the contentious clause of dual listing.
