Infosys may promote nearly 1.2 lakh employees by September

While most of the businesses are reeling under the crisis posed due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, Indian tech-giant Infosys may give promotion to nearly 1.2 lakh of its employees, that is nearly half of its total workforce. The tech giant is planning to announce the promotions by September this year. Junior and mid-level employees will be the first to get promotions, which were due since April.
