Investors looking to invest $500 million or more will have designated person for clearances

The department for promotion of industry and internal trade(DPIIT) has said that the investors who are looking to invest more than $500 million in India will get designated persons to facilitate clearances at various governance levels including the Centre. This is a joint initiative of the DPIIT and Invest India inspired by the Gujrat model. The details of the plan were given by the DPIIT secretary Guruprasad Mohapatra.
