A massive tax evasion by food delivery firm Swiggy and Instakart, a group company of Walmart-owned Flipkart, has been unearthed by the Income Tax department. As per the inquiry by the Income Tax department, the tax concealment amount is nearly Rs. 950 crore and it involves third party vendors. Flipkart alone accounts for the tax evasion of Rs. 650 crore while Swiggy is accused of concealing taxes worth Rs. 300 crore.
