Jack Dorsey to purchase Bitcoin from proceeds from auction of first tweet

In a statement that may result in a further rally in the price of Bitcoin, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has said he will convert the proceeds from the auction of the first tweet. "just setting up my twttr" was the first tweet posted by Dorsey on the platform. The current highest bid for the tweet stands at $2.5 million. Dorsey listed the tweet as a unique digital signature on a website for selling tweets as non-fungible tokens.
