Jayant Rikhye appointed as HSBC India CEO

Jayant Rikhye has been appointed as CEO of India operations of Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corp. Ltd (HSBC). HSBC said that his appointment would be effective from 1 December, subject to regulatory approvals. He will replace Stuart Milne. Jayant is currently serving as head of strategy and planning and regional head and working with the bank since 1989. He will be first Indian CEO since 2009.
