Jet Airways employees ready to buy airlines with their salary

Though the management buyouts is rare in India, recently the 2 unions of the Jet Airways- SWIP and JAMEWA in a letter to SBI chairman Rajnish Kumar have asked to consider their proposal of buying the airlines. The letter was signed by 2 more Jet senior executives which stated that the employee unions and outside investors are ready to pay Rs 7,000 crore to lenders. This is for the 1st time in domestic airline's history.
